Suzanne Hall is the Chief Information Security Officer of the American Red Cross. Suzanne, has held top IT leadership positions at AARP and The Washington Nationals Baseball Club and brings broad experience at aligning and securing complex technology environments to meet strategic goals. Suzanne is an industry recognized expert in technology management and information security who enables business through technology solutions, security, risk management, and compliance programs.

Prior to joining the Red Cross, Suzanne was CIO of Lerner Enterprises, the largest private real estate development company in the Mid-Atlantic and owners of the Washington Nationals. Before that, Suzanne was responsible for all IT Operations and Information Security at AARP. In this role, Suzanne launched the first ever Information Security Program, as well as Project Management Office, and Quality Assurance and process improvement teams which improved IT relevance and value inside AARP. Suzanne held a direct reporting relationship to the Board of Directors for IT Risk Management and Security. Previously, Suzanne was a consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Her primary areas of expertise lie in information systems controls, IT operations management, IT architecture, and information security.

An active speaker on issues related to information security, and information technology management, Suzanne contributes to Information Security round tables locally and nationally and has spoken on information security and IT management at a variety of conferences and meetings.

Suzanne holds a BS degree in Business Management and Accounting from The American University in Washington, DC. She also is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Certified Information Security Manager. She resides in Maryland with her husband and two young sons.
