Kieran Norton is a principal with Deloitte’s Security and Privacy practice based in San Francisco.  With nearly 20 years of experience, Kieran leads our Mobile Security practice nationally, where he focuses on mobile security risk assessment, mobile infrastructure and application security, mobile strategy and architecture, as well as device and operations security.

Additionally, Kieran and has significant experience leading data protection and privacy engagements, focused on addressing regulatory and industry compliance, for financial services industry (FSI) clients and has served more than twenty of our FSI clients since joining the firm in 2003.

Prior to Deloitte & Touche, Kieran spent a decade in the IT industry and in professional services firms, and has a background in information security, IT operations, and application development.  Kieran is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) as well as a frequent speaker at security conferences and events.
