Tony Spinelli is the Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer of Tyco. In this role, he is responsible for the security of the global Tyco enterprise including the organization, design, planning, implementation, and management of the Tyco security posture. Mr. Spinelli oversees a global team responsible for security engineering, security operations, security compliance and policy, and  cybersecurity threat management.

With deep industry expertise, Mr. Spinelli was honored in 2008 to be appointed to the US National Security Agency Advisory Board. He also maintains an external presence on corporate advisory boards of leading information security companies.

Prior to Tyco, Mr. Spinelli was Senior Vice President, Chief Security Officer, Corporate Security and Compliance for Equifax, Inc. He was responsible for the global assessment, design, development, delivery, and monitoring of Equifax information technology security as well as risk management, regulatory compliance, investigations, and physical security.

Prior to joining Equifax, Mr. Spinelli held leadership positions within two divisions of First Data Corporation (FDC). Most recently, he was Vice President, Information Security Officer for First Data Merchant Services. During his tenure at FDC, Mr. Spinelli also served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for eOne Global, the emerging payments segment of FDC.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Spinelli was Vice President of Online Services for eSecurityOnline, an Ernst & Young Venture Company where he was a founder. Prior to eSecurityOnline, he was a Senior Manager/National Director with Ernst & Young’s National Technology and Security Practice.

Mr. Spinelli earned a BS in Finance from Saint Louis University, and received his MBA in the Executive Program at Washington University. He maintains CISSP accreditation.
