As CISO of The Ohio State University Julie Talbot-Hubbard is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security program to ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of university information. Julie’s current team’s responsibilities encompass Information Risk Assessment, Data Loss Prevention, Vulnerability Management, Network Security, Security Event Management, Forenics, Identity & Access Management, and Information Security Policy.
With over 12 years of Information Risk, Security and Resiliency experience with companies ranked within the top 20 on the Fortune’s magazine’s list of the 500 largest U.S. corporations, Julie joined The Ohio State University from Cardinal Health where she was most recently Director, of Information Security and Risk Management. Julie successfully implemented Security Event Management, Data Loss Prevention, Security Testing, a Security Remediation Office and an enterprise wide Identity & Access Management governance program while at Cardinal Health. Julie spent approximately 10 years at JP Morgan Chase prior to joining Cardinal Health.
Julie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Finance from Miami University and attended the Executive Education Program for Women at Smith College. She and her husband, RJ have a son, Hayden. Julie enjoys traveling internationally, time at the beach, running and spending time with her dog, Lady. |
