ISE® NOMINATIONS

Recognized as the industry’s most prestigious IT Security award, the ISE® Awards Program has become the most anticipated award program for security executives and their project teams from across the U.S. and Canada. Nominees are VIP guests at the ISE® Executive Forums and each receives personal recognition on stage during the evening award galas. Each is also credited in press coverage and showcased in the nominee galleries on the ISE® Programs website.

Our nominations process is simple, yet thorough, and can be completed by an executive or project team on their own behalf, a boss, employee, peer, or a technology partner. Once you have decided to participate, please download and complete the appropriate nomination form. Once the form is filled out completely, please submit to us via email at ise@ten-inc.com.

A nomination fee of $150.00 is required to process each nomination form, but can be waived in certain circumstances, as we want to ensure all qualified nominees have the opportunity to participate. Eligible candidates for this waiver can be determined by a company’s budget constraints or a defined organizational policy. To discuss obtaining a waiver of the nomination fee, please contact T.E.N. at 229-834-3004 or send an email here.

All nominations are screened in advance for completeness, formatted (contact data is removed), and sent to our panel of distinguished ISE® Judges for review and scoring. Learn more about our judging process.

ISE® Award Categories

At each of the regional ISE® Award Program, there are three categories of recognition, Executive Category, Project Category and the People’s Choice Award. Nominees submitted for the ISE® Awards in the Executive Category are automatically eligible for the ISE® People’s Choice Award, which is voted on by the information security community at large. At the ISE® North America Awards Program, there are three additional subcategories of industry recognition for both executive and project nominations: Commercial, Government, Health Care and Academic/Non-profit. 

Executive Category

The Information Security Executive® of the Year Award recognizes the individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in the field of information security in the past 12 months. Awarded to a chief security officer or an executive in an equivalent position, this award honors exemplary achievement and excellence in risk management, data asset protection, governance, regulatory compliance, privacy and network security.

Project Category

The ISE® Project of the Year Award recognizes a project completed in the past 12-18 months that has had a significant impact on an organization's risk management or information security posture. This award recognizes the team behind the work.

People’s Choice Award

Selected by the security industry at-large, the ISE® People's Choice Award recognizes the Executive Category nominee, who best exemplifies the attributes of a leader in the security industry. Votes are tabulated by T.E.N. and the winner is announced at the ISE® Awards Gala. Many of the ISE® Nominees launch Facebook and LinkedIn campaigns to encourage voting for this award.
