Information Security Executives Name T.E.N.’s ISE® Programs as One of Top Three Industry Events to Attend in 2011
Atlanta, GA (January 20, 2011) –T.E.N. has announced that the Information Security Executive (ISE®) Program Series events will be the third most attended programs for IT Security Executives in 2011. According to a survey given by T.E.N. to the ISE® Alumni participants and award recipients, results indicated the ISE® Program Series would be on their list to attend after the RSA® Conference (first) and Gartner Security and Risk Management (second) events. The Black Hat® Technical Security Conference was listed as fourth.
“Having spent the last 25 years in the information technology field, it was a rewarding experience, both professionally and personally, to be brought together with many of industry's top security executives from across the country. T.E.N. has done a great job with the ISE® Programs and has proven itself to be a great networking opportunity; allowing us to roll up our sleeves and interact with each other to discuss how we are strategically positioning our organizations to prepare for future information technology and IT Security related trends and the ever-changing threat landscape,” said Tammy Moskites, CISO, The Home Depot, ISE® North America People's Choice Winner 2010.
“We have found that sponsoring the ISE® Program Series is an excellent way to engage one-on-one with executive-level contacts within our strategic accounts in a more relaxed setting. It allows our enterprise teams to begin the foundation of building key relationships,” said Monica Niemann, Field Marketing Manager, Trend Micro, Inc.
“As the economy continues to improve, we expect that the ISE® Programs in 2011 will break previous records and continue to generate many new opportunities for its nominees and participants,” said Marci McCarthy, CEO and president, T.E.N. “The ISE® Programs are uniquely positioned to open up communication, build bridges to knowledge and broker connections among IT and security executives and their firms. They function as an idea incubator, provide a channel for research, education and information sharing, speed knowledge transfer and promote best practices.”
Held in major U.S. cities, the ISE® Program Series include a one or two-day executive summit culminating with an awards gala that recognizes the top Information Security Executives and their project teams on a regional and national basis. Since 2003, this program series has served thousands of executives across a broad range of industries and enables recognition, knowledge sharing and the development of peer-to-peer relationships.
