CPE Credits

Attendance at the ISE Southeast Executive Forum can earn you up to four (4) Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits!

Upon completion of the program, T.E.N. will send the CPE credits to (ISC)2. Please be sure to provide your membership number during registration.

Members who provide proof of attendance will be evaluated on an individual basis by ISACA. Email your completion certificate request here, and it will be sent to you to submit to ISACA.

If you are a member of any other association that provides CPE credits for security-related events and require documentation to qualify for credits, please email us here.

The ISE® Southeast Executive Forum and Awards will be held on March 13, 2012 at the Westin Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, GA. The ISE® Southeast Award recognizes the information security executives and their teams who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in risk management, data asset protection, regulatory compliance, privacy, and network security.

The ISE® Southeast Awards are held in conjunction with a one day Executive Forum which includes keynote speakers, interactive roundtables moderated by the CISOs and VPs of participating companies, and hot topic panel discussions. The one day program offers the opportunity to meet with peers and leading IT executives from across the region to discuss and share insights into today's issues and solutions.

Description: CHS is challenged with managing user accounts across multiple technologies. The management of users includes user provisioning for new employees, account management for roles based access and termination of accounts. The existing technology, Novell Identity Manager (SIM); is currently implemented into the environment. The current version of this technology doesn’t provide the flexibility to meet all the business needs as the environment has evolved. But, the newest revision level of the application presents new and improved features that will assist CHS with meeting the needs of the business.

The organization now has a central repository of information from functions such as policy exceptions, risk and compliance assessments, customer and regulatory compliance requirements, vulnerability tracking and application security reviews to enable the business to make more informed business decisions.

Description: The HHS CyberSecurity Technology project provided HHS Operational Divisions with the supporting infrastructure to build secure enclaves to house management components of essential information security technologies. The enclaves are a combination of network taps, firewalls, routers,switches & authentication technologies to allow seamless integration of Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems,Security Incident & Event Management for event correlation and Network Forensics tool for malware analysis.
